Join MCF for lunch and learning with the team from RBC Global Asset Management.

First, we’ll take time for an educational workshop to learn about a financial tool that may help your organization build local generational wealth by increasing the liquidity of capital for entrepreneurs and small businesses. CDFI SBA pools (Small Business Administration pooled funds for Community Development Financial Institutions) can enhance the reach of philanthropic dollars. The pools offer institutional investors the opportunity to support entrepreneurs and small business owners who are committed to job creation and economic growth – especially women, veterans, people of color, and rural and low-to-moderate income community members. Join us to understand these pools and how they are being applied in Minnesota.

Then, along with fellow investors and the fund manager RBC Global Asset Management team, we will hear the latest updates on financial and social impact performance of our Minnesota Impact Investing Initiative (MI3) fund. Investors and all those considering investing are welcome. Learn about the history of the fund, here.

Presenters will include Brian Svendahl, Managing Director & Senior Portfolio Manager, BlueBay Fixed Income, RBC Global Asset Management and Mindy Frye, Institutional Portfolio Manager, RBC Global Asset Management.

This meeting is free and open to current MI3 participants and others interested in today’s conversation themes. If you have questions about this meeting, please contact Paul Masiarchin, pmasiarchin@mcf.org. Lunch will be provided by our friends at RBC Global Asset Management. Please update your online MCF profile with any dietary restrictions or notify Khin Oo, koo@mcf.org. We will attempt to accommodate all requests made at least one week prior to the luncheon.

In order to create the best in-person experience, this event will not be simulcast. Learn more here.
