MCF Offers Grant Intermediary Support for Pooled Funds and One-Time Projects

MCF has historically supported Minnesota’s philanthropic sector by serving as a grantmaking intermediary on discrete projects. MCF has managed pooled funds and administered one-time grantmaking through the Vaccine Outreach Program, Minnesota Census Mobilization Partnership, the Minnesota Disaster Recovery Fund and the Integrated Capital Recovery Program (ICRP).

MCF is now offering grant intermediary services for MCF members. By utilizing MCF as a grants intermediary, you can provide resources directly to MCF which will distribute the funds to community groups through a grantmaking process negotiated with the funder. This could benefit foundations interested in making an impact through pooled funds, through a one-time distribution for special projects or other strategies. Reach out to Susie Brown, MCF President, at MCF to learn whether this service might be right for you.
