  • The Transforming Philanthropy: Learning Community of Practice (adapted from Transforming White Privilege curriculum), is an intensive blended learning experience designed to help current and emerging leaders within Minnesota's philanthropic sector to better identify and productively address white privilege and its consequences. The self-paced, 20-module curriculum contains a mix of videos, learning articles, and self-reflection activities paired with monthly peer conversations. Visit MCF's Event Calendar to see when the next cohort will begin.
  • MCF Member-Initiated Briefings take place throughout the year. Briefings offer opportunities for MCF members to learn from one another about issues or programs that support growth of the philanthropic sector. Learn how to initiate a member briefing.

Building DEI Networks and Peer Relationships

MCF peer networks are open to interested individuals who work at member organizations. Learn how to join MCF's Peer Networks.

  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Network: For individuals who work to advance DEI, this Network helps you to connect with and learn from one another. Additionally, it serves as an opportunity for each person to see what work is being done within other organizations to create and foster diverse, equitable, and inclusive programming, training and development opportunities.
  • People of Color (POC) Network: This Network is for individuals who self-identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color working in philanthropy.
