Corporate Community Affairs Network

Wednesday, July 14, 2021 9:00am - 10:00am CDT

Join us for a meeting of the Corporate Community Affairs Professionals Network. This network is for MCF members who work in corporate philanthropy and are interested in discussing the unique issues and opportunities of corporate grantmaking. Corporate Community Affairs Professionals Network meetings generally take the form of informal learning from one another around a pre-determined discussion topic, with space on the agenda for updates and other timely discussion.

During our July network meeting, we’ll dig into the following topics:

  • MCF’s new Principles for Philanthropy: We’ll unveil the new principles and highlight key changes in this version of our guiding vision for the sector.
  • DEI initiatives: Based on peer questions, we’ll discuss how you frame your DEI initiatives and how you decide which grants are defined as DEI grantmaking. For example, do you track the diversity of an organization’s leadership, the community served, the focus of the work?
  • Measurement and evaluation: Also based on peer questions, we’ll talk about ways to measure return on value. How do you measure and evaluate program success and return on investments?
  • Other topics, based on the interests of those gathered. Bring your questions to ask and updates to share.

This is an MCF members-only briefing. Log-in details will be provided in your confirmation email. If you have questions about this peer network, please reach out to Paul Masiarchin,

In 2021, our Corporate Community Affairs Network meetings are sponsored by Delta Dental of Minnesota Foundation.
