About Khin:

Khin was born in Burma and grew up in small towns in the Midwest. She lives in an old farmhouse in Northeast Minneapolis with her husband, Kyle, and their cats, Pepette and Fernanda. She doesn't have a driver's license, and is passionate about getting around by foot or bus. She spends her free time reading, going to the bathhouse, and planning her next dinner party.

Khin has spent most of her career in nonprofits. Prior to joining MCF, she managed communications and membership engagement at Minnesota Multifaith Network. She also brings experience from Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, where she oversaw the grant review process. During this time, she served as a Twin Cities chapter co-chair of Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy. Khin is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve Minnesota's philanthropic community and hopes to provide an excellent member experience.
