The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), state agencies with the authority to review and make decisions about the mining industry, will explain the leasing, permitting, and environmental review processes when there are proposals for new or expanded mining projects in Minnesota.

As we culminate this year’s series, this in-person gathering will conclude with concrete vision for our 2026 journey: specific themes for exploration, relationship-building goals, and structures for continued connection.
