Throughout early 2025, the State of Minnesota’s administration has been working to educate partners and the public on the impacts of provisions in the federal reconciliation bill as it moved through the legislative process. With recent passage and the President signing the tax and spending bill into law on July 4, state agencies are working on a final analysis of the impact to Minnesota, the people served by state agencies, and services provided or supervised by state agencies. Join this briefing to hear first-hand analyses and gain an understanding of philanthropy’s future role.

While the impacts of the reconciliation bill span many issue areas, this briefing will focus on some of the biggest legislative changes.
