Developing and Implementing Content Strategy with a Small Team

Thursday, September 7, 2017 1:00pm - 3:00pm CDT
Minnesota Council on Foundations, 800 Washington Ave S #703, Minneapolis, MN, 55401

Description: When you advertise, you essentially rent a publication’s or television station’s audience. The problem is audiences are not as “owned” as they once were, avoiding advertisements whenever they can. So what is a foundation communicator with limited resources, both human and financial, to do? Build an audience. Provide the information your audience wants and needs in the form of content. Don’t just interrupt an experience, provide one. Let’s gather to explore and discuss what content marketing might look like for foundation communicators with limited resources. Join the ComMotion Network for a conversation around content strategy, including what others are learning, finding successful or testing. Angela Dimler, Director of Strategic Communications for the Catholic Community Foundation, will kick off the conversation by sharing some of her recent learning and resources from her development of a new content strategy.

The purpose of the ComMotion Network is for those member foundation staff working in communications to connect with their peers, exchange information, and learn from one another. This meeting is one of two 2017 network meetings. Exact agenda to be determined.

This is an MCF member-only meeting.
