Minnesota policymakers strengthened and expanded Minnesota’s democratic systems during the 2023 legislative session. From restore the vote to automatic voter registration and more, Minnesota enacted a sweeping set of historic reforms that will expand the electorate, increase voting access, and add safeguards against threats to our democracy.

Join MCF for a briefing with Minnesota’s top election official, Secretary of State Simon, to learn more about these historic reforms. What will they mean for civic engagement in Minnesota? What does implementation look like? What role can philanthropy play? Successful implementation is essential to ensure our state achieves the full benefit and impact of these inclusive democracy reforms over the coming months. During this briefing, MCF will offer a pooled funding opportunity for members interested in supporting successful implementation of these historic reforms.

Log-in details will be provided in your confirmation email. For additional information, please reach out to May Yang at
