Giving Campaigns: Corporate Benchmarking

In early 2026, MCF corporate giving programs and corporate foundations responded to a set of questions about employee giving campaigns. The following questions were answered by 12 companies.

  1. Do you have a formal giving campaign at your company (e.g., United Way, all nonprofits, etc.)? If so, please describe.
  2. If you have a formal giving campaign, do you match employee gifts to that campaign? If so, how much? Is there a budget limit?
  3. Is your giving campaign held during a specific week, month, open year-round, etc?
  4. Do you track employee participation levels? If so, please share.
  5. What software or system do you use to manage your campaign? Does this system adequately meet your needs?
  6. Please share any other useful information about your giving campaign.
