About Cary:
Cary is a Wisconsin native who settled west of the Mississippi after attending college in St. Paul when she discovered the vibrant nonprofit landscape of the Twin Cities. In her free time, she enjoys local travel, particularly in the driftless region of western Wisconsin, and hunting for vintage furniture finds to decorate her home in South Minneapolis where she lives with her husband and son.

For the past twenty years, Cary’s career has focused on the intersection of heart and head, helping do-gooders, do good, better using technology. Most recently she worked as an independent web developer for dozens of local social good organizations and small business owners. Prior to that she held a series of positions, both volunteer and paid, for several membership and nonprofit capacity building organizations including MAP for Nonprofits (now Propel), Minnesota Council on Foundations, Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of the Twin Cities and the national Young Nonprofit Professionals Network. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Psychology from Macalester College.
