Join us for an interactive session that will examine how typical funder-grantee relationships often reproduce power imbalances, and how thoughtful shifts in mindset, practice, and structure can foster genuine trust, deeper collaboration, and more equitable outcomes. Participants will explore ways to redesign grants, create dialogue, and improve partnership processes so that families can move from being transaction-oriented funders to trusted allies—centering listening, humility, sustained commitment, and shared power. Through real-world examples you’ll leave with concrete ideas to evolve your family’s philanthropic work toward more relational, trust-driven, and impact-rich engagement.

This National Center for Family Philanthropy (NCFP) webinar is a free benefit of MCF membership. Log-in details will be provided in your confirmation email.
