Join this working session to delve into the Minnesota Common Grant. 

Participants will:

  • Hear a brief history and overview of the common grant, including its goals for making philanthropy more accessible to grantseekers
  • Understand the format of the common grant, possible uses, and future next steps
  • Learn about various implementation strategies and gain first-hand perspective about using the common grant
  • Get answers to your questions about using the common grant 
  • Develop strategies for getting started in your own grantmaking institution

Session flow:

  • 30-minute presentation from Carrie Moscho, Community Impact Officer, Rochester Area Foundation and Paul Masiarchin, Vice President of Member Services, Minnesota Council on Foundations
  • 30-minute working time during which participants may ask questions of one another, share your own strategies for common grant implementation, and take time to develop strategies for implementation in your own context
