Measuring What Matters: Equity, Impact, and Accountability

How do you measure the impact of your philanthropy? How do you hold yourself accountable to grantees, communities, and future generations—including measuring what funders traditionally don’t measure? And how do you ensure evaluation practices support learning, correction, and meaningful outcomes rather than simply validating what you’ve already done?

This webinar will explore how to move beyond basic metrics and cultivate evaluation practices that reflect deeper, systemic change—not just outputs. This session will guide families in aligning their measures with their values, questioning whose voices shape success, and designing systems of feedback and accountability that center community and equity. Attendees will leave with a set of tools to shift their evaluation conversations and practices toward better learning and responsiveness.

This National Center for Family Philanthropy (NCFP) webinar is a free benefit of MCF membership. Log-in details will be provided in your confirmation email.
