MCF Summer Social @ Leading Locally

MCF invites you to our annual Summer Social! Join us for this special event, dedicated to bringing together Minnesota's vibrant philanthropic community. As is our tradition each summer, MCF members will gather for connection, camaraderie, and celebration. This year, we have the pleasure of holding our gathering in collaboration with the Council on Foundations during Leading Locally 2025.

What to Expect

Mingle with philanthropy peers from across Minnesota - and from around the U.S. - over light refreshments including beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, appetizers, and desserts. The Summer Social offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the impact of our collective efforts, share stories of success, and inspire one another to continue making a difference in the lives of those we serve. There will be brief remarks at 5:00. 

This event is taking place at the Council on Foundation’s Leading Locally 2025 held at Minneapolis Hilton. MCF will have nametags for Minnesota funders so you can easily find one another while mingling with the national participants at the Leading Locally event.

If you aren’t already registered for Leading Locally, consider registering now before prices go up. At Leading Locally, you will connect with over 1,000 community and place-based funders from around the country. As the sector reacts to change at the national and global levels, your community is where you can have the greatest impact. At Leading Locally 2025, fresh ideas, resources, and strategies will take center stage to help you build inclusive and vibrant communities.

Who Can Attend

The summer social is free for all MCF members, whether or not you're attending the full conference. Find the MCF registration table to get your MCF nametag, before entering the ballroom.

Whether or not you are registering for Leading Locally 2025, this reception is a separate registration. Thank you, this will help as we plan for hospitality.
