For Minnesota’s philanthropic community to have the greatest impact, we need knowledge and insights about the nonprofit sector. This will be the seventh conversation since early 2020 for MCF members to discuss the vitality of the nonprofit sector.

During the past years, the state, federal, and nonprofit landscapes have changed dramatically. In 2025, significant shifts and uncertainty have weighed heavily on the state’s nonprofits of all sizes and focus areas. We’ll dig into the latest data and gain an understanding of short-term and long-term trends that are impacting the current conditions and future health of the sector. We’ll examine details about nonprofit finance and funding including workforce trends, overall sector statistics, and trends impacting the missions of our state’s charitable organizations. Bring your insights and questions as we engage in a robust conversation about the current state of the nonprofit sector.

This virtual conversation will be led by Henry Jiménez, President & CEO, Propel Nonprofits and Nonoko Sato, Executive Director, Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN). Together, they bring vast experience leading nonprofit organizations, guiding the sector’s growth, and promoting public engagement in the charitable sector.

Log-in details will be provided in your confirmation email. For additional information, please reach out to Khin Oo, [email protected].
