Join the Minnesota Climate Donors Table and the Minnesota Disaster Philanthropy Working Group for a conversation about the intersection between climate and resilience. What is climate resilience? How can we use language that increases inclusion based on geography, race, and economics? As we think about the intersection of climate, the energy transition, natural disasters, agricultural transition, economics and migration – how can philanthropy respond to create more inclusive, positive impacts?

The session will feature Saket Soni, the founder and Executive Director of Resilience Force, the voice of the rising workforce rebuilding America after climate disasters. He is also the author of The Great Escape: A True Story of Forced Labor and Immigrant Dreams in America. The book, about America’s first climate resilience workers, was featured on NPR’s Fresh Air and called “a must-read” by the New York Times.

Log-in details will be provided in your confirmation email. For additional information, please reach out to Khin Oo, koo@mcf.org
