Facilities and Building Maintenance Director

McKnight is seeking a strategic, hands-on facilities leader who brings deep technical knowledge, strong operational judgment, and a commitment to service excellence to join its Operations Leadership Team. The ideal candidate has significant experience leading facilities operations in a complex commercial, institutional, or mission-driven environment and is comfortable overseeing advanced building systems, preventive maintenance programs, vendor and contractor partnerships, and emergency preparedness efforts. 

The ideal candidate is energized by the opportunity to steward a high-performing, fully electric facility and to align building operations with broader organizational goals related to sustainability, reliability, safety, and workplace experience. They must be a strong people-leader who can set clear expectations, build accountability, and foster effective collaboration across maintenance, guest services, security, housekeeping, and external service providers.
