About Pablo 

Pablo is a first-generation immigrant. He was born and raised in Lima, Peru, came to the USA in 1986 and has lived in Minnesota since 1991. He is and his wife Erika are parents to adult children Manuel and Elisa, and proud grandparents to Zavian and Zayla. A good place to find Pablo when he is not working is at a Pickleball court or in the kitchen making some Peruvian food!

Pablo brings with him extended experience addressing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work and great knowledge about rural Minnesota. Most recently Pablo was the Community Engagement Officer for Southwest Initiative Foundation. He is a board member for the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits. He received his Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary in 1995. Pablo’s networking and leadership with many state-wide BIPOC organizations including TRUE Tuesday Partnership is an example of his passion and commitment to the work he will be doing for MCF. He is the MCF Director for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
