Willmar Area Community Foundation's Arts Grant Round Accepting Applications Until August 15th

The Willmar Arts Fund, a fund of the Willmar Area Community Foundation (WACF), is now accepting grant applications.  The purpose of the Willmar Arts Fund is to support organizations in the city of Willmar that provide art activities to make art more accessible to area residents.  The deadline for grant applications is August 15th.  For more information about the grant round and to apply, visit www.communitygiving.org/grants.

Sara Carlson, executive director of the WACF, stated, "We are hoping to fund programs that will bring the joy of the arts to everyone in our community as we continue to showcase Willmar as a place of beauty, innovation and progress."

In previous years, the Willmar Arts Fund has supported projects such as the new Village Children's Museum, Studio Hop and Celebrate Art! Celebrate Coffee!, the Willmar Symphonic Orchestra, and the Barn Theatre children productions.
