Request for Proposals (RFP): Local News Policy Coalition Coordinator

Purpose of Request

Press Forward Minnesota seeks a Coalition Coordinator to support building a coalition dedicated to identifying and championing policy proposals that strengthen Minnesota's diverse local news and media ecosystem. This is a one-year commitment at this point.

The coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating activities associated with the coalition. This includes providing general oversight for coalition activities and associated projects; research and policy development, relationship management, and executing coalition meetings and schedules. The coordinator will work to develop and implement strategies that will lead to long-term involvement of local news and media organizations, community, civic organizations, and individuals as related to local news and media policy in Minnesota.
