Pohlad Family Foundation Announces Homelessness Prevention Program LOI

Pohlad Family Foundation will be accepting Letters of Interest (LOIs) from organizations and collaborative efforts interested in submitting a request for funding under its new Homelessness Prevention Program. Prior to submission, please thoroughly review the Homelessness Prevention Program Overview, on the foundation's grant opportunities page. There you will find eligibility requirements and information about the new focus on housing stability with the goal to prevent and end homelessness for families and youth in the Twin Cities seven-county metropolitan area.  
The foundation will accept LOIs, of no more than two-pages, through May 18, 2018. All submissions need to be emailed as a Word or PDF attachment to . Please include “Homeless Prevention Program LOI” in the subject line.

Your two-page LOI should contain the following information: 

  • Organization or Collaborative’s Name and Mission
  • Brief description of program request including goals and services to be provided
  • Brief description of how your proposed program will directly prevent homelessness for families and youth precariously housed in the Twin Cities
  • Population served including demographics, socio-economic status and geographic area
  • Organization or collaborative’s history supporting precariously housed families and youth
  • Amount requested
  • Current major funders of this program and/or pending requests to date
  • Contact name, phone number and e-mail
