The Northwest Minnesota Foundation (NMF) is offering a Financial Management workshop, a training that is part of the Vital Nonprofits Program (VNP). VNP’s mission is to invest and build the long term sustainability of the region’s nonprofit organizations and public agencies.
This workshop will address financial management, nonprofit accounting principles, how to set up an accounting system that supports strategic planning, building a budget, reading financial statements, and more. The workshop will be led by Megan Genest Tarnow, principal at the Mobius Group.
The first session will be offered August 15th in Bemidji, at the Northwest Minnesota Foundation. The second session will be held on August 16th in Crookston, at the Crookston Inn. Both sessions will run from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM. There is a $65 fee and registration is required. Please visit www.nwmf.org, where a link to online registration will be available under events.
