Mortenson Family Foundation Welcomes Camille Gonzalez as its Program and Grants Coordinator, and congratulates Danyelle O’Hara in her Expanded Role as Community Relationship Officer for Strengthening Environmental Systems

Tuesday, September 29, 2020

The Foundation welcomes Camille Gonzalez as its new Program and Grants Coordinator. Camille has a diverse range of disciplines that comprise her research and training background. She has conducted research to identify inclusive and equitable practices within donor advancement, the classroom, and the faculty and staff at St. Olaf College. Through these experiences, Camille became ever more passionate about promoting inclusive and equitable practices within the nonprofit sector. She now brings this experience and passion to the Mortenson Family Foundation.

Additionally, the Foundation congratulates Danyelle O’Hara, its Community Relationship Officer for Strengthening Developing Communities, who will expand her role to become the Community Relationship Officer for Sustaining Environmental Systems. Danyelle’s skills in facilitating conversations and deeply listening have served the Foundation well over the last year and will now align perfectly with the Foundation’s interest in more deeply engaging community in the work of the Foundation.

Danyelle brings field and research experience, and a “systems thinking” approach to engaging communities and supporting environmental outcomes that benefit all. Her prior work in community-based forestry and community conservation also gives her the level of knowledge of environmental organizations and ecosystems needed to inform our grantmaking in the environmental area.
