MCF Seeks Proposals to Address Critical Moment in Philanthropy

Submit a Proposal to Host a Workshop or Share a Resource

MCF is now accepting proposals from members looking to lead at the 2021 Learning Series: Critical Moment in Philanthropy.

This 3-month series -- a creative adaptation of our annual conference -- includes engaging topics, offered to MCF members in multiple learning modes (blended learning). The Learning Series will serve as MCF's signature event in 2021. Click here to view full details and submit a proposal.

2021 session themes include:

  • January: Systems in Distress: Explore philanthropy’s role in building equitable public systems such as housing, employment, health, education, criminal justice and the environment.
  • February: Becoming an Anti-Racist Sector: Explore the individual, organizational and systems changes needed to transform philanthropy into an anti-racist sector.
  • March: The Long View of Civil Society: Take a deeper look at democracy, civic engagement and civil discourse.

All MCF members are encouraged to submit a proposal for a workshop, peer conversation, TED-style talk, or educational resource. Proposals are due October 30, 2020. Click here to learn more and submit a proposal.
