CONFERENCE INFORMATION AND THEME

MCF cordially invites you to submit a workshop proposal to present at our 2022 Annual Conference: Momentum

This conference brings together philanthropic professionals for a week of sharing, learning and connecting. Due to the unpredictable nature of the year, MCF is planning a hybrid conference with all virtual keynotes and all-in-person workshops. The conference design will allow for uniquely Minnesota focused workshops along with nationally informed keynote presentations.

Dates: Monday - Thursday, February 21 - 24, 2022
Keynotes: Three Virtual Keynotes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Workshops: 12 In-Person Workshops on Thursday McNamara Alumni Center, 200 SE Oak Street, Minneapolis 55455

If in-person workshops are impractical in February, alternate plans will be made no later than 6 weeks prior to the conference.

PURPOSE

We are seeking current MCF members, representing diverse backgrounds, roles, responsibilities and experiences as lead presenters of conference breakout (workshop) sessions. We recognize that MCF members have the expertise and innovative spirit to assertively propel our sector forward. MCF values the individuals who comprise the wide-ranging member organizations, and in order to best create a space for all voices, we strongly encourage everyone to consider what they bring to the table that enhances attendee learning and engagement.

We strongly encourage submissions representing collaboration with other MCF members, community partners, and/or subject-matter experts. The workshops will:

  • Amplify and Share Members’ Activities, Learning and Impact
  • Align with MCF’s Principles for Philanthropy
  • Deepen Relationships Among Members

RFP responses are due September 13, 2021.

Session proposals will be reviewed by MCF Staff and MCF’s Program and Conference Committee, and the lead presenter for accepted proposals will be notified September 28, 2021.

All lead presenters will be asked to confirm by October 8, 2021.

Download the RFP for more information about the agenda, areas of focus, and how to submit. For questions, reach out to Josh Vang, Member Services Manager.
