The Marbrook Foundation Announces New Funding Opportunity for Arts Programs

The mission of Marbrook Foundation is to promote the values of the Brooks family by making grants and focusing involvement in designated charitable areas and causes that reflect those values.

In 2017 the Foundation announces a new funding initiative for programs and projects that provide culturally specific arts programming and/or intercultural arts programming. In 2017, grants will likely range between $5,000-$20,000.

The Foundation will accept Letters of Intent (LOI) from arts programs serving the Twin Cities metro area.

The Foundation’s priorities in the area of Arts are:

  • Projects and programs that foster cultural awareness and understanding

  • Projects and programs that encourage cross-cultural collaboration, community integration, and inclusion

Letters of Intent may be submitted starting June 15, and are due by July 15, 2017 via the Foundation’s online grant application system.

Invited proposals will be due September 30, and funding decisions will be made in November 2017.
