The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) welcomes KoriAnn Carter to its team as its new Director of Community Impact. KoriAnn will begin her new role at the foundation before the end of September. KoriAnn is a longtime resident of Central Minnesota.
KoriAnn says, “I am excited to continuously work in and within my community to make equitable change. Not only am I excited to see the change, but I’m also thrilled to be a part of it. I love my community and I have strived to give it all that I have in the most positive way possible.”
KoriAnn has a background in working for nonprofit organizations. Most recently she was the Social Equity Program Officer at the Morgan Family Foundation. Her experience also includes the founding of the GOATS – Girls on Arise to Succeed program in St. Cloud where she held the position of Community Mentor as well as being a Program Coordinator for the United Way of Central Minnesota. Aside from her experience working in nonprofits, KoriAnn has worked as a Para Educator for the St. Cloud District 742.
Greta Stark-Kraker is the CMCF Executive Director. She says, with KoriAnn’s experience she’s a natural fit for the Director of Community Impact position.
“KoriAnn believes in our mission of engaging people, connecting resources, building communities, and supporting community impact work. She has significant experience in nonprofit leadership. We are pleased to have her join our team.”
As Director of Community Impact, KoriAnn will lead the programmatic work of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) under the direction of the CMCF Executive Director and with the guidance of the Director of Community Programs. KoriAnn will work to lead and coordinate competitive grant rounds, assess community needs, build relationships within the community, and support local initiatives. In her free time, KoriAnn enjoys being out in nature near the water, working out and living a healthy lifestyle.
The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local community.
