Central Minnesota Special Needs Fund Awards $20K to Local Programs

The Central Minnesota Special Needs Fund has awarded $20,000 to two local organizations, through its recent grant round. The fund is supported by the Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF).
The Central Minnesota Special Needs grants go toward supporting programming that serves those with complex intellectual and physical disabilities. The following organizations have received grants:

  • $9,000 to ConnectAbility of MN for their 2022 Equipment Connection & Donated Equipment Programs.
  • $11,000 to WACOSA in Waite Park for their Giving Our Clients A "LIFT" program.

 Last year, The Central Minnesota Special Needs grant round was also able to grant out $20,000.
The next Central Minnesota Special Needs grant round is scheduled to open September 2022.
The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local community.
