Central Minnesota Arts Grant Round Opens Feb. 1

The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) is pleased to announce that the Central Minnesota Arts Grant round is opening February 1, 2021. The goal of the Central Minnesota Arts Grant is to support small to medium size arts organizations that make arts more accessible to area residents. Application deadlines for the Central Minnesota Art Grant round is 11:59 p.m. April 1, 2021.
Caryl Turnow, Executive Director of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation says, “The arts in general, are a very impactful movement within our community. Not only does art education inspire creative thinking but it can help develop many lifelong skills, including leadership skills, teambuilding exercises, cultural awareness and so much more. As we look toward making diversity, equity and inclusion a priority, I believe our local arts programs will help us in this effort. By offering this grant opportunity, we hope to continue to support these much needed programs and we are excited to partner with more programs in our community to do so."
Eligible organizations must be 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, schools or governmental entities. The focus area for this grant is to support visual art or performing arts. For more information about the grant round and specific criteria for each grant round, visit www.communitygiving.org/grants.
