Butler Family Foundation Appoints JoAnne Peters and Robert Hybben as Foundation Co-Directors

The Patrick and Aimee Butler Family Foundation has appointed JoAnne Peters and Robert Hybben as Foundation Co-Directors. In their new roles, JoAnne and Robert will share the responsibilities of chief executive officer for the organization. JoAnne will continue to manage the foundation's Community Grants Program, and Robert will manage its Invited Grants Program as well as operations and infrastructure.

Together, JoAnne and Robert will co-manage the foundation's Special Projects Grants Program.

JoAnne Peters joined the Butler Family Foundation in January 2014 and most recently served as its Manager of Community Grants. She previously worked for a variety of nonprofits in the foundation's three primary giving areas — arts, environment, and human services — and holds degrees from the University of Minnesota and Antioch University, Seattle.

Robert Hybben joined the Butler Family Foundation in September 2014 as Director of Program Operations. He worked for more than ten years in program and development roles at The Minneapolis Foundation and as an adjunct professor of English at Hamline University. He holds degrees from Hamline and Gustavus Adolphus College.
