Director of Member Services
The Director of Member Services is responsible for developing strategy and overseeing implementation of all member programming and services, and the member renewal, recruitment and retention process. The Director of Member Services supervises the following positions: Member Services Manager (responsible for implementing member services and programs); Member Engagement Manager (responsible for implementing the member renewal, recruitment and retention process, managing member data and relationships, and tracking and reporting member engagement); and the Communications Manager (responsible for developing communication, marketing, advertising and research strategies). The Director of Member Services works in close collaboration with the President; Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; and Director of Public Policy, and provides leadership to ensure that all programming is aligned toward an excellent member experience and to ensure organizational strength and health.

Member Engagement Manager
The Member Engagement Manager is responsible for implementing the member renewal, recruitment and retention process, and utilizing data tools and analysis to inform the process. The Member Engagement Manager works in close partnership with (and is supervised by) the Director of Member Services, to develop member engagement strategies and systems to track them. The Member Engagement Manager coordinates development and management of databases to support routine communication with MCF members and key government and community stakeholders. The Member Engagement Manager provides information and reports to the President, staff colleagues, and the MCF board of directors, to inform budget development, and to ensure timely and accurate financial practices related to membership dues, paid programming, grants, and other revenue that supports the organization. The Member Engagement Manager is the primary user of the organization’s relational database (Salesforce) and is responsible for setting expectations and providing training and support for other users on the MCF team.

Member Services Manager
The Member Services Manager is responsible for design and implementation of member programming and services including, but not limited to: peer networks, tools and resources to strengthen philanthropic practice, educational programming, events, and the annual conference. The Member Services Manager works in close partnership with (and is supervised by) the Director of Member Services, to develop and implement strategies, services, and programs to ensure an excellent member experience. The Member Services Manager works closely with members, and frequently delivers programming and services in member-based locations. The Member Services Manager is expected to have, and continuously and actively attain, relevant, up-to-date knowledge about the field of philanthropy in order to design and implement programs to strengthen philanthropic practice in Minnesota.
