Early voting and voting from home in the November election has already started in Minnesota. Join us for a conversation about how Minnesota philanthropy can be involved in promoting and protecting the election.

MCF members will hear from Secretary of State Steve Simon about the efforts of his office to encourage participation. He’ll share ideas for how foundations can help support communities that have been hardest hit by crisis this year to ensure they feel secure enough to participate in our democracy.  Annastacia Belladonna-Carrera, Executive Director of Common Cause MN, will provide an overview of election protection efforts underway in Minnesota. This includes working with volunteers and partners to monitor digital spaces and polling locations for misinformation and mischief to help ensure election integrity.

This meeting is being organized and hosted by MCF’s Democracy Funders Working Group. Any MCF member is welcome to participate!
