Join the Program Officers Network for our first breakfast meeting of 2016! At this meeting, Katy Friesz, senior program officer at the Carlson Family Foundation, will facilitate a conversation on Collaboration – Grantmaker’s Role and Competencies. Program officers will discuss foundations’ role in collaboration, as well as the professional competencies that program officers need to effectively participate in and advance the goals of collaborative efforts.

In 2016, the Program Officers Network is using a book club format for its meetings. In advance of each meeting, we will circulate a timely article addressing a key issue in philanthropy and use this material as the focus for meeting discussion. Each meeting will also include time to get to know our fellow program officers and share updates about our work.

There is no registration fee for this event; participants may purchase their own breakfast at The Freehouse.
