Power Moves: Peer Network for Advancing Equity and Justice

Tuesday, January 19, 2021 2:30pm - 3:30pm CST

Are you ready to take the next step toward building, sharing and wielding power for maximum impact on issues and communities you care about? This peer conversation will provide an opportunity to share and learn tips and strategies for using the Power Moves tools to advance equity and justice. Power Moves is a complete self-assessment toolkit to determine how well you are building, sharing and wielding power and to identify ways to transform your programs and operations for lasting, equitable impact.

This peer conversation follows on an MCF Member Briefing in 2020 when we were introduced to the Power Moves tools, offered by the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy. NCRP staff Eleni Refu, Senior Engagement Associate, will join us on January 19, to help guide progress for effectively using the tools. This meeting is for MCF members who are interested in using Power Moves and those members who have started to use the tools. If you are wondering if Power Moves is for you check out the readiness assessment. Send questions about this session to Paul Masiarchin, pmasiarchin@mcf.org. Attendees will determine whether additional conversations will be scheduled to continue the conversation beyond January 19.

Log-in information will be available in your confirmation email.
