Changes in federal tax law enacted in 2017 created a new landscape for charitable giving and philanthropy. The changes will affect nonprofits, donors and grantmakers. They also affect MCF’s public policy agenda.
This meeting of MCF’s Government Relations and Public Policy Committee’s tax policy subcommittee will launch what is expected to be an 18-month process to review the implications of the new law and to develop recommendations for changes in MCF’s public policy agenda.
This meeting is for subcommittee members only. Other MCF members who are interested in the group’s work should contact Bob Tracy to discuss opportunities to participate.
Video conference participation is available for this event. Information about connecting through video conference will be included in your registration confirmation email, but please also email Brianna Kocka if you plan to attend via video conference. Lunch will be served. You will be asked to contribute $10 at the event to cover your lunch.
