Description: Join us for a legal briefing specifically for MCF's corporate members. Davis Senseman, founder of Davis Law Office and board chair of PFund Foundation, will provide a briefing on legal issues relevant in a corporate philanthropy setting. Topics will include self dealing, conflict of interest, international grantmaking, foundation v corporate giving considerations, funding advocacy work, and more. Davis will also cover effective strategies for working with your internal general counsel. After the presentation, there will be ample time for questions to dig in further or explore additional legal topics of interest.
This briefing is a special meeting of the Corporate Community Affairs Professionals Network. This network is for MCF members who work in corporate philanthropy and are interested in discussing the unique issues and opportunities of corporate grantmaking. This is a member-only meeting.
