Description: Join the Minnesota Food Funders Network (MFFN) for a bus tour to explore the food landscape in southern Minnesota. This is a chance to get on the ground and learn about the exciting things that are happening in this part of the state. The tour will include three short site visits and lunch. Site visits will highlight sustainable agriculture practices and innovative work happening around soil and water protection. Site visits will include a farm in Rosemount that is part of the Hmong American Farmers Association, a farm partnering with Cannon River Watershed Partnership in Northfield, and Main Street Project in Northfield.
This tour will showcase some of the new ways that funders are investing in these projects, as well as provide you with an opportunity to network and connect with peer funders and learn more about MFFN and the Minnesota Food Charter.
