Leaders and advocates committed to a fully-inclusive, honest and accurate 2020 Census in Minnesota show up for the quarterly meetings of the Minnesota Census Mobilization Partnership.
Here's what you can expect at this meeting.
First, you always get an insider's update about federal policies and actions related to the 2020 Census by Terri Ann Lowenthal, consultant to several national census advocacy groups. Minnesota's state demographer, Susan Brower, will report on the State of Minnesota's preparations.
Second, we will have preliminary results from our communication and mobilization planning process. Be the first to hear about themes and messages for engaging Minnesota's historically undercounted communities.
Finally, we know you have questions, lots of questions starting with, "Exactly how does the census work. It's important to understand this to effectively engage others in this work?" So, we'll have census experts teamed-up to provide a live, real time FAQ on "doing the census."
