Description: The purpose of the Midwest Independent Community Foundations Network is to enhance the productivity and community impact of all member foundations through collaboration. This meeting is the network's regular summer meeting.
This is a longer than usual MICF meeting to allow the network to go more in-depth on topics of interest. The meeting will go from 10:00-3:30pm, with a social networking reception from 3:30-4:30pm with MCF staff. The keynote speaker for MCF's public policy retreat, Mariam Noland, the President of the Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan, will join us for the social reception and provide some brief remarks. MICF members are encouraged to attend the public policy retreat the following day, June 16, for an inspiring and action-oriented day focused on democracy and the value of the independent sector.
MCF is also happy to organize a dinner reservation for MICF members on Thursday evening if there is sufficient interest.
This is an MCF member-only meeting.
