MCF Member Briefing with Dr. Michael Osterholm

Wednesday, December 15, 2021 2:30pm - 3:30pm CST

When the MCF community met with Dr. Michael Osterholm on June 4, 2020, the world had just begun the relentless pandemic experience of COVID. Since then, more than 750,000 Americans have died of COVID, health disparities have been laid bare, the workforce has been impacted in myriad ways, vaccines have become widely available, and most of philanthropy continues to work from home. Currently Minnesota is among those leading the nation in infection rates and we’re facing the threat of the new omicron variant. Join us on December 15 for another conversation with Dr. Osterholm to discuss what we have learned, and how to think about the future of pandemic recovery, variants, and the long-term impacts of COVID on society. Dr. Michael Osterholm is an internationally renowned infectious disease epidemiologist and director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota as well as a regular local, national and international expert, policy advisor and commentator on COVID-19. This MCF member conversation will be hosted by Susie Brown, MCF President.
