MCF Government Relations and Public Policy Committee: Tax Policy Subcommittee

The MCF Government Relations and Public Policy Committee created a Tax Policy Subcommittee after the passage of the 2017 federal tax law. This is a video conference meeting for the tax policy subcommittee. Exact agenda to be announced.

This subcommittee’s primary responsibilities include:

• Researching and evaluating policies related to MCF’s public policy goal of promoting philanthropy and charitable giving.
• Evaluating proposals and recommending actions to the MCF Government Relations and Public Policy Committee.
• Annually recommending policy priorities for MCF’s Annual Advocacy Agenda and periodically recommending action on matters related to the Legislative Statement and Leadership Initiatives.
• Providing consultation and advice to MCF staff to support public policy advocacy and MCF member services related to the policy goal of promoting philanthropy and charitable giving.
