Join your MCF member peers to address the evolving community needs emerging due to coronavirus. MCF will host calls twice weekly through the month of March, for the purpose of sharing updates and best practices, understanding community needs, and considering ways we can work together in this unprecedented time.

On this call, we’ll focus on new federal coronavirus relief programs and policy changes that impact the independent sector. What do new paid leave provisions and changes to unemployment benefits mean for our sector? What was included? What wasn’t included? How does the temporary universal charitable deduction work? We’ll hear from Matthew Evans, Public Policy Director at United Philanthropy Forum, who can provide us with updated and relevant information from Washington D.C.

Specific topics for future calls will be determined as this situation develops, and community needs are understood, with guidance from the Disaster Philanthropy Working Group, and the Center for Disaster Philanthropy. Log-in information will be in your confirmation email.
