Description: MCF's Global Funders Network invites global and domestic philanthropy professionals to an issue briefing on the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals.

David Wilsey, program director of the Masters in Development Practice at the Humphrey School, will provide funders with a briefing on the newly adopted Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development. The briefing will provide an overview of how goal-driven development works, what the Sustainable Development Goals are, how they apply to philanthropy and how a foundation could use them in its work.

These goals are meant to apply to all countries, so both globally and domestically focused funders are invited to attend. This event is open to all MCF members. Funders are encouraged to bring questions and ideas to foster a robust Q&A and discussion after the presentation.
