How Impact Investors are Responding to the Crisis

Join your Impact Investing Network colleagues for a virtual conversation on some of the latest trends and topics affecting your work. Our network is co-chaired by Elizabeth McGeveran, Director of Investments, McKnight Foundation and Donna Dalton, Executive Director, Mortenson Family Foundation along with Susan Hammel, MCF Executive in Residence.

On April 9, we will address timely issues about responses to COVID-19. Conversation topics may include: reassessing and rating the risk of program related investments; considering responsive strategies such as interest relief; and discussing what to do in a time of market uncertainty including creative approaches for leveraging dollars for the public good in a bear market. Bring your questions and creative ideas to share in this participatory virtual conversation.

Immediately following our hour-long Peer Network Conversation, stay on the same webinar line to join the MCF All-Member Call, 10:00 - 11:00, focused on the topic of developing an Integrated Capital Approach. The conversation will address the idea of short-term response versus long-term recovery from the pandemic. We'll consider various ways that the philanthropic community can put dollars to work to support our communities through avenues such as PRIs.

Webinar information will be in your confirmation email.

In 2020, the network name has changed to Impact Investing. We will continue to cover the full range of mission investing conversation topics, including below market to market rate investing. Join us for both network meetings on April 9 and November 17, 2020.
