Join MCF to learn how we as a community of practice define impact investing. We’ll explore what it means to intentionally seek to create and measure a positive financial return as well as a positive social or environmental impact.
If you’re new to the impact investing concept, new to the work, or looking for new ways to make a difference with your investments – this session is for you. MCF empowers all MCF members who desire to invest their assets for positive social and environmental impact to do so in creative, collaborative and thoughtful ways.
Session presenters will include MCF’s Executive in Residence for Impact Investing, Susan Hammel, CFA and Founder of Cogent Consulting. Susan will be joined by Danielle St. Luce, an Investment Associate for Cogent Consulting and Program Director at SBX.

The formal program will end at 9:45 a.m. Interested individuals are invited to continue the conversation, 9:45 – 10:15, for additional informal conversation with Susan and Danielle. This flexible time may be spent answering individual questions, digging into your possible impact investing ideas, or generally exploring the basics of impact investing as it pertains to your situation.
