Are your foundation’s processes as efficient and effective as they could be in getting funds out the door? How about the processes around preparing for trustee meetings? Are there ways you could reduce admin costs and shorten grant decision-making time while maintaining high quality due diligence? In this meeting of MCF’s Finance and Operations Network, Therese Casey, Controller with The McKnight Foundation, will share various methods for business process improvement and how it can help foundations improve their operations. You are encouraged to come with an idea of a process in your foundation that you would like to analyze for opportunities for improvement, as well as, any techniques you have found successful in improving your business processes.    

The first hour will be a facilitated discussion and is available via GoToMeeting to ensure accessibility for member foundation staff outside the Twin Cities metro area. The GoToMeeting call-in info is included in the confirmation email once you register for this meeting. 

The second hour will be breakout conversations on the topic by position (finance, HR, controllers).
