As corporations across the country are changing leave policies to create more inclusive and attractive workplaces, foundations are similarly revisiting their policies to stay competitive and be true to their organizational values. Some of Minnesota's foundations have recently changed their paid time off, holiday, bereavement and parental leave policies to attract and retain a more diverse workforce.  At this meeting of the Finance and Operations Network, finance, controllers and HR staff of member foundations are invited to see examples of policy changes being made at foundations here in Minnesota and discuss the opportunities and challenges posed by changing leave policies. 

The first hour will be a presentation of recently changed leave policies in MCF member foundations. This hour is available via GoToMeeting to ensure accessibility for member foundation staff outside the Twin Cities metro area. If you would like to join for the first hour, please indicate this in the "Special Needs" section of your registration and an MCF staff person will reach out to you with a conference code prior to the meeting. 

The second hour will be breakout conversations on the topic by position (finance, HR, controllers).
