Corporate Community Affairs Professionals Network: Employee Engagement, Giving and Volunteerism

Monday, October 10, 2016 8:30am - 10:00am CDT
MCF, Archibald & Edyth Bush Board Room, 800 Washington Ave N, Suite 703, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Description: Join us for a meeting of the Corporate Community Affairs Professionals Network where we’ll focus on employee engagement, giving and volunteerism. This network is for members who work in corporate philanthropy and are interested in discussing the unique issues and opportunities of corporate grantmaking.

At this October meeting, we’ll hear from Martin Wera, director of community relations at Ameriprise Financial, about their employee engagement work. We'll also hear a brief presentation from Global Impact's Brandolon Barnett on his research around measuring the impact of employee engagement and mapping its alignment with broader CSR strategies and the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. These two presentation are meant to spark a group conversation on this topic, with plenty of time to ask questions and share how you approach employee engagement, giving and volunteerism in your work.

Corporate Community Affairs Professionals meetings will generally take the form of informal learning from one another around a pre-determined discussion topic, with space on the agenda for updates and other timely discussion. This network replaces the Senior Community Affairs Professionals (SCAP) network and our corporate listserve.

Breakfast, coffee and tea will be provided at the meeting.
