Join your fellow community foundation colleagues for the fall meeting of MCF’s Community Foundations Network! This peer network aims to create a space for all community foundation professionals to connect with one another and discuss and learn about topics of interest across the community foundation spectrum. The November meeting will focus on community foundations and their role in promoting civic conversations and civic healing. What is needed to bridge divides in your community? What is your foundation already doing, or considering doing? What are the opportunities and challenges? What resources are available for this type of work? Please come prepared to share and learn from your peers!
In addition to this topic, MCF staff will provide a short update on an upcoming state legislative proposal specific to private foundations and their usage of donor advised funds as a part of their grantmaking strategy.
